Troubleshooting issues with Star Micronics TSP650II Printer

If you're experiencing issues with your Star Micronics TSP650II printer, performing a factory reset can often resolve the problem. Follow the steps below to reset your printer and re-establish a fresh connection.


🔄 Resetting the TSP650II Printer

Step 1: Unpair the Printer

  • Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings.

  • Locate the printer and select “Forget” or “Unpair” to remove it from the list of connected devices.

Step 2: Power Off the Printer

  • Turn off the printer to prepare for the reset process.

Step 3: Press and Hold the Reset Button

  • Locate the reset button on the back of the printer.

  • Press and hold the reset button.

Step 4: Power On While Holding Reset

  • While holding the reset button, turn on the printer.

  • Release the button when the ERROR light begins flashing.

Step 5: Wait for Reset to Complete

  • The flashing ERROR light indicates that the reset is in progress.

  • Once the light stops flashing, the reset is complete.

Step 6: Restart the Printer

  • Power off the printer again.

  • Wait for 5 seconds, then power it back on.

Step 7: Reconnect the Printer

  • Ensure the printer is plugged into a working power source.

  • Press and hold the red Pair button on the printer for 5 seconds.

  • On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and tap the printer name to pair again.
