How to use the Square POS app and TotilPay Register app on the same iPad

Here’s a step-by-step guide for using the Square POS app and TotilPay Register app on the same iPad:

1. Launch Square POS:
   1. Open the Square app on your device.
   2. Start a new transaction.
2. Add Items or Enter Purchase Amount:
   1. Add items to the basket or manually enter the total purchase amount.
   2. Select “Other” as the tender type.
3. Switch to TotilPay Register:
   1. Minimize or switch from the Square app to the TotilPay Register app.
4. Initiate EBT Transaction: Complete the Transaction:
   1. Tap the “Transaction” button in the TotilPay Register app.
   2. Swipe the customer’s EBT card using the TotilPay card reader.
   3. The customer enters their PIN in the TotilPay Register app. 
5. Submit the Transaction:
   1. Wait for the TotilPay Register app to process the transaction.
   2. Confirm that the transaction has been approved in TotilPay.
6. Return to Square POS:
            1. Switch back to the Square app.
7. Complete the Transaction:
            1. Tap Complete Checkout on the Square app.

Settlement:

• Square handles the settlement of credit and debit transactions.

• TotilPay is responsible for settling EBT transactions.
