TotilPay S3 Integration: Accepting S3 Food Cards for Health Plan Members
If you're a merchant who accepts payments through TotilPay and you're interested in expanding your customer base and increasing sales, you may want to consider adding the ability to accept S3 Food Cards. These cards are available to members of Medicare Advantage Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP) who may be experiencing financial difficulties and need help purchasing healthy foods. About S3 Food Cards
S3 Food Cards are a benefit offered by certain health plans to qualifying members. These cards provide a monthly or quarterly allowance to be spent on healthy foods at participating stores across the United States. Eligible items include items like milk, eggs, bread, juices, water, yogurts, fruits, vegetables, and more. The allowance reloads each month or quarter, so members can continue to use the card as long as they remain eligible for the benefit.
Adding S3 Food Cards to Your TotilPay Account
To add the ability to accept S3 Food Cards to your TotilPay merchant account, you'll need to complete the merchant processing agreement addendum. There is no cost to add the S3 Food Card as a tender type to your TotilPay merchant profile. However, approved transactions will incur a 2.5% fee that is deducted from your settlement.
Note: S3 Food Card processing is currently available for TotilPay on Apple iPhone or iPad only.
Getting Paid for S3 Food Card Transactions
If you accept S3 Food Cards through your TotilPay account, you'll be paid via ACH deposit to your existing merchant account with TotilPay. When a customer pays with an S3 Food Card, the transaction will be processed like any other payment through TotilPay. The 2.5% fee will be deducted from your settlement, and you'll receive the remaining amount via ACH deposit.

About OTC Network Healthy Foods Cards
In addition to S3 Food Cards, TotilPay also offers integration with the OTC Network Healthy Foods Card. This card is available to members of certain health plans and allows them to use benefit dollars to purchase eligible food products such as fruits, vegetables, eggs, milk, and more. When you accept the OTC Network Healthy Foods Card through your TotilPay account, you can earn extra money on products you're already selling.
Adding OTC Network Healthy Foods Cards to Your TotilPay Account
To add the ability to accept OTC Network Healthy Foods Cards to your TotilPay merchant account, you'll need to sign up through the TotilPay InComm OTC integration page. You'll be able to accept pre-loaded health plan cards for healthy food and produce purchases. The average OTC Network cardholder transaction amount is $50 per visit, so accepting these cards can be a lucrative opportunity for merchants.
