TotilPay Go - Process a HIP Return

Please follow these steps to process a HIP return in TotilPay Go app:

1. Log in to TotilPay Go.
2. Tap Return.
3. Tap SNAP.
4. Swipe the customer's EBT card.
5. Have the customer enter their PIN and tap Enter.
6. Enter the return amount.

Important: Enter the return amounts exactly as they were entered during the original sale. For example, if the original transaction included $5 SNAP and $5 HIP, enter the return as $5 SNAP and $5 HIP.

7. Complete the transaction by following the on-screen prompts.

Examples

Example 1:
Sale: $10 SNAP / $5 HIP
Return: $10 SNAP / $5 HIP
Result: $5 goes back to SNAP balance, $5 restores HIP benefits.

Example 2:
Sale: $20 SNAP / $20 HIP (fully HIP eligible)
Return: $20 SNAP / $20 HIP
Result: SNAP balance restored; $20 added back to HIP monthly benefits.

Notes

• HIP return amounts must match the original purchase allocation between SNAP and HIP.
• Verify the return details before submitting the transaction.
