Follow the steps below to pair your Bluetooth printer with an Android device, and then with your TotilPay app.
- Open the Settings app in your Android device.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- Power on your Bluetooth printer.
- Refer to your Android's Bluetooth Settings and tap the device labeled for your printer.
- Manufacturer's setup instructions for your printer should have come with the printer you chose on how to pair your printer with your device. You will need to make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your device before setup. Please follow the printer manufacturer's guidance for device pairing with Bluetooth.
- If pairing fails, toggle Bluetooth off in your Android device's Settings and then turn your Bluetooth printer off. Wait a few seconds before toggling Bluetooth back on in your Android device's Settings, and then power your printer back on. Repeat Steps 1-5.
- You need to pair your printer with both your device and with your TotilPay app.
- 1. After you have paired the printer with your device via Bluetooth, open the TotilPay app.
- 2. Go to "More" in the bottom right-hand corner of the app.
- 3. Select "Transaction" from the menu.
- 4. Toggle the button to green next to "Enable Print".
- 5. You have now paired the printer with the TotilPay app.
After successfully pairing your Bluetooth printer, it will automatically reconnect to your Android device when powered on. If your printer does NOT reconnect when powered on, refer to the information below:
- Confirm Bluetooth is ON in your Android device's Settings
- Ensure your Bluetooth printer is within effective Bluetooth range (25'-30')
- Confirm your printer's active Bluetooth profile is Android
